In 2023, Arnaud Maruani was invited to La Méridienne, a science and society radio programme broadcast by Radio Campus Tours in partnership with INSERM, to discuss the MARKS research project conducted within the SPHERE unit.

The interview focused on the MARKS protocol, which aims to better understand the acceptance and psychosocial impact of visible skin conditions and differences. The project explores perceptions of skin marks associated with conditions such as vitiligo, vascular birthmarks (angiomas), and alopecia, with the goal of improving understanding of their effects on quality of life, social interactions, and well-being. More broadly, the discussion highlighted the importance of patient-centred research in dermatology and the role of clinical research in addressing the social dimensions of health.

In 2021, Stéphanie Leducq-Guillem and Arnaud Maruani were invited to La Méridienne, a science and society radio programme broadcast by Radio Campus Tours in partnership with INSERM, to present the SPHERE research unit and discuss the TOPICAL project.

The interview highlighted clinical research in paediatric dermatology, with a particular focus on the TOPICAL clinical trial. This innovative study investigated treatment strategies for childhood eczema using a within-person study design, an approach that allows direct comparison of interventions within the same participant. The discussion provided an opportunity to showcase methodological innovations in clinical research and their contribution to improving evidence-based care for children with dermatological conditions.
