A working group on ecological transition within SPHERE was created in September 2023 following the July Science Day, when a workshop was organized to address these topical issues. Some twenty SPHERE members are taking part.
ATMO-SPHERE's missions are:
- to carry out a carbon assessment of the unit. The one for 2023 was carried out using the "GES 1point5" tool.
- to brainstorm and share best practices to be adopted in the context of our research. To this end, "ecotrucs" will be produced and shared on a regular basis. You can find them below (in french)
- to propose to the CUSPHERE (Unit Council) measures to reduce SPHERE's carbon footprint.
