Biosketch
François Chaumier is a hospital practitioner and lecturer in palliative medicine at Tours University Hospital and Faculty of Medicine. Trained as an onco-hematologist, he obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Palliative Medicine in 2015 and is currently in charge of the Equipe Mobile de Soins Palliatifs 37 (Mobile Palliative Care Team 37). After completing a Master 2 Research in Palliative Medicine at the University Paris-Descartes in 2016, he obtained a Doctorate in Oncology from the Ecole Doctorale Biologie Santé at Nantes University in 2022. His research activities focus on research methodologies and judgment criteria adapted to palliative patients, as well as professional practices and collaboration between palliative care specialists and healthcare professionals.
